Amy Hanson, DC
Dr. Amy Hanson of Hood View Chiropractic in Gresham graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Western States in 2012 with a prior undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology from North Dakota State University. Dr. Hanson moved from Fargo, ND, to pursue her chiropractic degree, and, while in the process, she fell in love with all Oregon has to offer. She specializes in gentle, but effective, low-force adjusting techniques, and loves getting to know each and every one of her patients.
Kimberly Hooser, LMT
Kimberly Hooser, LMT graduated from the University of Western States in Portland, OR. She loves to apply what she’s learned in every session and values communication throughout the massage therapy treatment to ensure clients leave knowing more than when they arrived. During a massage therapy session, she uses a combination of techniques depending upon each specific patient’s needs, to accomplish decreased pain and improved range of motion.
Catherine ‘Kit’ Knowles, LMT
Catherine “Kit” Knowles, LMT graduated from East-West College of the Healing Arts in 2010, but has been around massage therapy all her life and has studied it with intention for over 20 years. Trained in traditional methods and modalities, including deep tissue, myofascial release, and sports massage, she always tries to follow a holistic pattern of treatment in her sessions.
Communication is key, along with adapting each session to the patient’s specific needs.
Brianne Meriwether, LMT
Brianne Meriwether, LMT graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2009. She specializes in therapeutic, myofascial release, deep tissue, hot stone, and pregnancy massage. An Oregon native, Brianne enjoys hiking in the Gorge and camping with her husband and son. She and her family also called Thailand home for four years while volunteering and immersing themselves in the S’Gaw Karen and Thai languages and cultures
Dana Hanson, Front Desk
Dana Hanson was introduced to chiropractic as a teenager and has been a big fan ever since. He met Dr. Amy Hanson in 2004, married her in 2009, and now works at the office with her. Being from Fargo, North Dakota, he is a huge Minnesota Vikings fan, and is always happy to discuss football with our patients! Go purple and gold, “Skol, Vikings!”
Alicia Hanna, Receptionist
Alicia Hanna graduated from Centennial High School in 2020. She is currently attending PSU and majoring in Animation. She hopes to one day become a well known artist and create shows/movies that people will love. She strives to always do her best and to help others as much as she can. She also loves dogs. :)
